The file approximately matches the A-series aspect ratio. Before printing, check the preview and your print shop's requirements. Larger sizes are possible but show less fine detail; the sharpness of AI-generated details can also vary.

We treat them that way.
Selected photos stay in your browser until you submit. They are then stored privately at Cloudflare. Confirmed orders are kept for 90 days and automatically cleaned up afterwards. Your photos and wishes are sent to OpenAI to create your personalised picture. You can request earlier deletion.

before your first picture.
Can I create my own picture now?
Yes, when the test service is open: upload a people photo and a location photo, and optionally add wishes. Creation starts after email confirmation. In the clearly labelled example mode, you receive a fixed example picture instead. The form shows whether new orders are available and which mode is active.
Which photos work well?
Clearly visible faces in daylight work best. Use one group photo as the reference. The recognisable main group, including babies, is used; incidental people in the background are excluded. Personalised pets are currently not supported. A fixed maximum group size has not yet been set.
Which places work for our picture?
Almost any place that means something to you. It need not be a special destination. Familiar everyday places often make the best reference:
- Outside your house: with the front door, garden or tree outside.
- Living room or sofa: your cosy corner, favourite armchair or the place where you play together.
- Children's room, kitchen or dining table: where your little everyday stories happen.
- Garden, balcony or terrace: with a shed, sandpit, flower pots or favourite toys.
- Playground, park or woodland: your regular playground, a familiar walking route or a favourite lakeside spot.
- A place full of memories: Grandma's garden, a holiday home, a campsite or the beach from your last holiday.
A simple phone photo is enough to start. No special decorating or staging is needed.
Is a photo of our house, sofa or living room really enough?
Yes. Take a photo of your house from outside, or show your sofa with some surroundings. A living room photo also makes a good location reference. It is the starting point for a busy illustrated world with additional characters and little stories. Your people photo provides the main characters. The result is an illustration rather than an exact copy of the room or building.
How should I photograph our favourite place?
Use daylight and step back so the place is easy to recognise. Include the whole house facade, or the sofa together with the floor, window or shelves. For a small corner, include some surroundings. Your location photo does not need to show people, as you add a separate people photo. If one photo already shows your people and the desired place, you can select it for both uploads.
How much does the finished picture cost?
Creation and the digital download are currently free. We limit the number of orders to keep this possible. The current waiting period is shown when you create your picture.
What resolution is my picture and how large can I print it?
Pictures are currently created at 3,424 × 2,416 pixels in landscape format and delivered as PNG files. This is approximately A4 at 293 dpi or A3 at 207 dpi. Pixel density is lower for larger posters; check the preview and your print shop's requirements before ordering. The sharpness of individual AI-generated details can vary.
Can I regenerate my picture as often as I like?
No. Each order provides one result. To create another picture, start a new order. The same usage limits still apply.
